Mad Pride April 2017

What a day, it was fab to have a day where fun, respect, inclusion and no stigma were the highlights of the day.  The day consisted of poetry, drama, music and variety acts galore.  Everyone young and old sharing the moment and proving this great city is capable of once again proving to a be a place where people can be accepted with mental health problems.  The drama performed by the Brolly Good Show included pieces that were both political and thought provoking.  Thanks to Nicky from the PSS for leading us to make sure the performances went really well.  Star of the day had to be Patrick who lead the last piece singing and performing with enthausiasm – well done all.  If anyone is interested in joining the drama group we would love you to come along.  Speak to Nicky at the Umbrella Group
